Windbreak around Rainwater Harvesting |
Malcom Brown, Wade Miller and Gareth Scott have a contract to plant 1500 salt bush around the Rainwater havesting complex. Gareth and Wade expained that this will stop dust from landing on the catchment area and fouling the water. The old man saltbush they are planting will be quick growing and should start doing its job by 2011. In the future scotdesco gardeners aim to propagate the salt bush seedlings. |
